Digital Bridge Technology Academy Curriculum

The Digital Bridge Technology Academy curriculum offers individual instruction and small group classes combined with project-based learning and service learning opportunities. The basic technology skills curriculum forms the backbone of the Digital Bridge model. Furthermore, this curriculum acts as the entry point into the Digital Bridge program and all of our youth begin with the mastery of these skills.



Basic Technology Skills Curriculum:
  • PowerPoint
  • Word
  • Excel
  • Using technology to gain employment
  • Using the Internet Effectively

Basic Hardware Skills

  • Identify hardware components
  • Breakdown and re-build a PC
  • Format a drive
  • Install an operating system
  • Install peripheral devices
  • Perform basic computer troubleshooting and repair.


Cisco Certification:
As a Cisco Local Academy, the Digital Bridge Technology Academy offers Cisco curriculum and the opportunity to earn Cisco certification to youth who have completed the Basic Hardware Skills class and are engaged in a Digital Bridge internship.
